Week 2
Well here is week 2 already. So far the most important thing that I have learned is that, no matter what you write, it is very important to understand the audience that will be reading your technical writing. Because of this is might cause you to change some of your jargon or how you talk to the audience. When I go to court on something, the jury may not understand advanced medical terms, so should I have to write something down, I might want to use simple terms. However, if I am writing to my department or a doctor, I would want to use advance medical terms. The last thought of week 2 is GO DAWGS!!!

Week 1
Greetings to all. This being week one and nothing to reflect upon yet, I figured I might as well introduce myself to everyone, since that seems to be the going thing when you first join a online class. That being said, I am Jason Smith and I live in Gwinnett County, in the city of Buford. I was born and spent most of my life in Fayette County Georgia, until I joined the Air Force at age 18. From there I traveled the country and was able to participate in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am married to a wonderful wife and we have a three year old beautiful baby girl. She has me wrapped around her finger and is a daddy's girl. I am currently employed as a full time Gwinnett County Firefighter, and I absolutely LOVE my job and what I do. I have been doing this for almost 5 years here and I hope that this is the only job I ever have. This is my last semester and I will graduate from West Georgia Technical with a Fire Science Associate Degree. I can't wait to be finished, but then I'll just find something else to do. Well I guess that's pretty much me in a nut shell, I look forward to working with everyone online and wish everyone the best of luck.
